About Me
Professional info
Since the age of 12, I have wanted to work in the television industry. With that goal in mind, I have worked very hard to make that dream a reality. From writing articles in my university's newspaper, to being a one woman show for the university's newscast, to now professionally producing an hour of news, I have progressed significantly in my field. Today, I am proud to say I am an awarding newscast producer.
Along with producing, I have helped in training associate producers on how to write, build a show, adjust to breaking news, how to booth a show and how to set up interviews for in-studio segments. I have had the opportunity to field produce and assist in running live shots. I am a self-starter, but also not afraid to ask questions when I don't have an answer. Any time something needs to be done and no one is available, I am usually the first to volunteer to help get the job done.
